Rest Is The Key To Optimal Healing

After you give birth, rest is an essential part of your recovery process. Being able to slow down in the evening and nourish your body with sleep is what will set you up for more balanced and grounded energy during the day. Your body needs at least six weeks to heal after giving birth and sleep is where optimal healing begins.

How it works: First, we set up a consultation which you can do by filling out the form on the contact page found in the tabs above and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours. If we decide we’re a good fit for each other, we set up a time for me to come to your home before your baby is born. I do this visit so I can learn how you like laundry done, where you keep your bottles/baby necessities, where the bedrooms are, meet any pets etc.

Usually I start overnights with you the first night you’re home with your baby. When I arrive to your home, I check in about how your day was, ask about any new needs your baby has and then I take over caring for your baby and you go to bed for the night. Nights look different for every family depending on their preferences for feeding and sleeping. We will go over all of your preferences before our first night together.

My support includes: Caring for the baby (feeding, soothing, changing diapers etc.), light household chores (laundry, dishes), and offering emotional support for the birthing parent. Your baby is my priority, so as long as they are happy and fed, I can help with other tasks.

Rate & hours: Normally, my hours are from 9pm-7am but we can always discuss that further if you have a different preference. My rate is $50/hour with an 8 hour minimum.
